Overview

Prioritize the player’s aspiration for progress, ensuring that they are fully equipped to reach the level they strive for. The basketball culture in our region places a strong emphasis on personal growth, both as a basketball player and as an individual. We believe that striving to get better every day is not only important for one’s basketball skills but also for personal development and growth.
Serbia is a country of basketball that boasts the highest proportion of medals from basketball world cups per capita. The coaches hailing from this region are widely regarded as some of the most respected and accomplished basketball instructors in the world.

Program structure

The vision of the leadership department is to develop leaders in both sport and life. AITA staff helps student-athletes develop the necessary life skills and characteristics to successfully meet personal and athletic challenges and focus on topics related to leadership in sport (teamwork & accountability) and self-leadership in life (decision-making, self-management as well as social intelligence).

Nutrition

Our Nutrition Team is dedicated to providing our student-athletes with the knowledge and resources necessary to fuel and hydrate their bodies effectively for athletic performance, academic success, and overall growth and development. Our team places significant focus on addressing key areas such as energy needs, optimal hydration, building a performance plate, pre-competition fueling, recovery, travel nutrition, injury management, micronutrient concerns, and supplementation, among others. We believe that proper nutrition and hydration are essential components of a successful athletic and academic career, as well as overall health and wellbeing.
