Entry requirements
What kind of AITA candidate we are looking for:
- Duolingo (95)
- TOEFL (70)
- IELTS (6)
- CERF (B2)
* If a candidate does not satisfy the required level of English proficiency, a student will be placed in the ESL program.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Transfer applications for January 2024 (Spring semester) enrollment will be considered on a limited basis.
The application deadline for Fall 2024 is May 31, with decisions being communicated by June 15.
a) Evidence of current and/or previous education (such as a diploma, transcripts or list of grades)
If your qualification certificates and transcripts are not in English, you also need to arrange a translation by a sworn or certified translator.
b) 3 reference letters (Math and English teacher preferably) – Download form
c) English language certificate
d) Student essay – We require students personally to respond to the following questions:
1. How would you describe a typical day at your current school including your off-school activities? (Minimum 50 words)
2. What are your academic goals and interests, including both high school and university education? (Minimum 50 words)
3. What person or event do you consider to be influential in your life? Please explain (Minimum 100 words)
4. You just woke up and found out that all classes have been canceled today. How might you spend the rest of this day? (Minimum 50 words)
