Welcome to our school
American Institute Allied With Thornton Academy (AITA) is the first high school program in Novi Sad with the US curriculum in cooperation with the prestigious boarding high school from the United States – Thornton Academy from Saco (Maine). Founded on 1811, Thornton Academy has been a center of inspiration, innovation, and community.
Since its founding in 2022, AITA prepares students for a changing world through our curriculum, facilities, extra-curricular opportunities, and student support. We are situated in the quiet and secure part of Novi Sad, and our campus offers peace of mind and an abundance of opportunity.
We are dedicated to creating sharp thinkers, creative doers and confident leaders.
Academics
AITA operates according to the American High School System. Throughout 4 years of regular education (9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade and 12the grade), our students broaden their knowledge and prepare for their undergraduate (University) studies.
Our system’s key features revolve around providing personalized attention in education, tailoring educational approaches to cater to the unique requirements, objectives, and academic ambitions of each student.
